Avast Keeps Blocking Webpages At Trusted Sites
« on: November 09, 2015, 01:50:19 AM »
Avast keeps blocking webpages at Home Depot, New Egg, ect. The pop up alert states something about a certificate not being valid or up to date. How do I prevent this frustration? Shutting off the antivirus temporarily doesn't work as the site is already blocked. This prevents you from being able to buying anything.

There is no need for that Tangy.

The solution is to update to avast version 2016.
In version 2016 the https scanning has been changed a lot.

Go to Settings > active protection > webshield > Customize and un-check https scanning.

Thanks. Unticking the box did the trick!
