Some files could not be scanned (1920)
« on: October 30, 2015, 06:07:33 PM »
Hey I did a smart scan and there's a handful of invisible files that can't be scanned. Here's a screenshot, i'm not worried about the one drive files, those only couldn't be scanned because they're offline. What should I do?

https://blog.avast.com/2014/02/28/how-do-i-handle-files-that-avast-cant-scan/ :)

This doesn't tell me what to do. I'm concerned it could be malware.

If you feel the need to investigate, Although it is most likely and probable there is no need, you can go here and follow all instructions.
A malware specialist can/will review any/all logs.

Somewhere along the line it looks like you elected to update to windows 10, this is normally what this path indicates, a windows update. And in this case a preparation to get the free update to win10.

When you agree (or are somewhat deceived) to upgrade to windows 10 it downloads a shed load of files to be able to do that.
