Secureline VPN preventing connection to ISP

Help!  My Secureline VPN when connected is preventing a connection to my ISP.  I tried uninstalling and re-installing but that didn't work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Without any useful info, nobody can say what's going on. What exactly does 'connecting to my ISP mean'? Are there any error messages in the system log file? What ISP do you have? ...
