As far I see, just on-demand protection.
Do you have a special registration key or the Home version is allowed?
Seems easy to translate... I can't image why din't Igor asked me to do it...  :-[

All it needs right now is on demand scanning.  You will need to register for a key the first time you use the command "avastgui".  Nevertheless, that is where the STDIN/STDOUT mode could be useful for piping files through a script for Avast to scan like email.

Is there any way to donwload avast for Linux right now or I have to wait indefinitely until next release...
