Weird multiple password boxes
« on: November 24, 2015, 02:25:06 PM »
I opened my Avast GUI and went into the settings, after that when I hit the Passwords link to edit things there I got greeted with a number of password boxes, one is expected but this must be a very weird bug... If I enter my password into all the boxes they close down and show the settings page all grayed out and I can't edit anything there!

Are there anyone else who's had this happen to them?  :-\

Here's a screenhot of how it looks, the language used is Swedish if you wonder!  :P

The problem is related to synchronization.
Sorry I can't find the thread with the explanation.

I think my problem is resolved!  :P

I uninstalled Avast completely, removed the remaining folders in the appsdata folder and under programs, then did a restart between and now I have now installed it, logged in and it works alright, so far!  :P

Although, its rather annoying to get a lot of those boxes, at one time it spammed boxes so my PC froze, lol!  ;D

Thank you for your response though! :-)
