Scanning Wi-Fi issue
« on: January 17, 2018, 10:23:38 PM »
Hello.  I am hoping for clarity on something that happened recently.  I had my wifi turned off (fully) and when I went into the SecureMe app, it initially stated "No Wi-Fi Connected", but then after about 10 seconds, it stated that my "Connection to "Wi-Fi"* may be vulnerable" and started scanning...  Again, I did not have any wifi or data turned on at the time.  What could this be?  Thanks in advance.

* "Wi-Fi" is not a network I've ever connected to before

Hello,
The name "Wi-Fi" is a generic name used when the real wifi name is unknown. Therefore it looks like a bug in connection detection.
Which version of SecureMe app are you using?

Thank you
