avant now stopping

i downloaded ewido suite and cleaned 70 addware and trojans off my computer.its now running again and let me re download avast  solving my act skin 4 file problem ,but now when doing a thourough scan of my files its getting so far into the scan and just stopping at a certain file sta\documents saying its incomplete ,and wont carry on with the scan ,can any body help

Are you sure it stops there? Normally, all the errors are announced at the end of the scan, after everything has been scanned - but it doesn't mean the scan is interrupted when a corrupted file is encountered.

now you have said that you might be right because it does say are you sure you want to end the scan , its just it stays on the screen and it looks like its  froze ,thanks ill try again
