Lost ability to lock apps

Hi there,

I recently applied an avast update for my samsung tab 4 and now my apps cannot be locked . When i try and lock them i get the message that i need special permissions and then i get sent to the android settings. I have no idea how to set any "special permissions". Does anyone have idea how to set them?

Hi Eddie,

you're probably talking about the App Usage permission. On some Samsung tabs the Settings open incorrect page, so you'll have to navigate there yourself. Just go to System settings / Security / Apps with usage access (on the bottom) and allow Avast Mobile Security there. I hope at least the location stayed the same on Samsung...
