crashing...
« on: December 11, 2005, 07:14:34 AM »
I've updated the newest version of Avast, and it asked me to reboot. After reboot, it came to the desktop. Everything SEEMS fine, but when i click and start any program such as firefox, my computer just freeze there. I can move my mouse and click things but nothing would respond.

I tried to open task manager, but it wouldn't open.

I disabled Avast after resetting the computer, and then i system restored. Everything works now; programs open when i click them. But avast told me to reboot my computer, and i clicked no. So i dono what to do now, i think my computer is gonna crash again after reboot.

Need help fast please, thanx.

Are you using any other antivirus in your computer?
Any other security program? Which firewall?
Which Windows do you have?

Please stick to your original Topic you created 1 minute before this one. Multiple posts just cause confusion and duplication of effort for those trying to help.
