I noticed this morning that one of my servers is showing in black in the management console as apposed to the normal green. The Avast icon on the server is showing the current virus definitions with today's date, but the console shows it last communicated with this server yesterday afternoon and shows yesterday's date as the virus definition date. I am able to connect to the server thru the console to access the virus chest. Is there a setting that will fix this without having to uninstall and reinstall the program from the server? I've had this happen occasionally in the past and am hoping for an easier fix. The avast.ini file has the correct IP address of the management server, so I have no idea why this server isn't communicating with the console correctly all of a sudden.
