Problem with Outlook 2007 after latest Avast update
« on: December 10, 2015, 05:41:48 PM »
After installing the latest update of avast, my outlook stopped working.

Version 11.1.2245
Virus Def version 151210-0

I am running MS7 OS with Outlook 2007

The error does not happen when the system is rebooted with Avast turned off.  When Avast is turned back on, the error happens again.

The key words are "encryption type".
Disable TLS/SSL scanning and it should work.
