I am wondering why the people @ Avast have not put in an area where people can setup  a time where avast home dose detection every day, week or month?

You have that and it's called scheduling, but you have to purchase Pro version. You can't have everything included in Home Edition. Then there would be no point in having Pro version and no one would buy that software.

I believe you have more than enough features in Home Edition and all that for free. Can we ask for more ? None of other antiviruses is even close to this one considering what features you get in freeware version... besides, where else will you find free technical support through these forums, e-mail and phone, even for freeware product such as avast! Home Edition is ? Hardly...

There is a way to schedule a scan in the Home edition.
