would like refund
« on: December 16, 2015, 05:35:55 PM »
Hello,

I've tried submitting multiple tickets and calling many times.  (what kind of help hotline has an answering machine?!) I'm not even sure this is in the right forum but I'm sick of dealing with this;

I purchased the full protection on November 11th. I used my activation code and it did not work. I was bothered with more pop ups on buying something I already had. I requested my license be emailed multiple times and when I try to use it I get this error "unable to insert license file. the license file does not contain any valid license."

I'm so annoyed with the customer service that at this point I would like a full refund so I can be done dealing with this horribly run company.

I don't want to put any of my license or activation codes on here so I'll just provide the ticket number -  #45272 (17 days old!)

that makes sense. after my original ticket reached 2 weeks old I changed my request from a fix to a refund.

Hi christina11_10,

You purchased a license for Avast Cleanup. Which product are you trying to activate?

Hello,

I'd really just like to get straight to the refund. I'm very done dealing with this.

There is no need to quote everything, we know what is posted and can read it. ;)

You can't get a refund for something you haven't bought.

Moroni has checked things and only found that you bought CleanUp which is something totally different from "full protection".

Did you perhaps bought another av ?
Did you perhaps used a different email address/name ?

I believe it would help if you mention the order number here.

I guess I haven't been clear. I am done dealing with this company. A month of nothing and I have to go to a public forum for help. Please make sure there isn't an auto-renewal set up for whatever I bought.

keep the money. good lord.
