In the past I have used the link
https://www.avast.com/registration-free-antivirus.php to reregister my older Avast Free version, and previously had no trouble getting a license key emailed to me. But I'm not having any success with that link anymore. Is emailing a key no longer operational?
Using the link results in a "registration successful" webpage and a message that I should receive the email within 30 minutes. I've been trying and retrying for two days, and nothing ever shows up in my email nor in my junkmail folder. I've tried registering with my email (via hotmail), my wife's email (via our isp) and my son's email (via gmail), but even though in every case it says registration is successful nothing ever comes through to any of the email accts, nor the junkmail folders of any of the accts.
I understand Avast 2016 has an online registration built in, but frankly I don't like that version and prefer to continue getting a registration key by email. Is that no longer an option?
