HELP!!!! Grimefighter has taken over my laptop!
« on: December 21, 2015, 04:06:23 PM »
I am aware that this is an issue that has been addressed before,  but I cannot find a solution that fits my situation. First of all, I did not initiate Grimefighter. My 10 year old did so accidentally. I assume from a pop up. Anyway, when I try to restart the laptop it goes to the "Lenovo" screen for a split second and then goes black for two to three seconds. Then it goes to the Grimefighter "Sedating your PC" screen. It loads and then the screen goes black forever! No matter how many times I try to restart or how long it sits I get the same results. From the moment you turn on the laptop there is no response from the keyboard at all. I am running Windows 10 and this is the only PC I have. I am sending this post from my phone.

Did you follow the suggestion by Asyn directly above your post???

If you cannot resolve your issue:
Contact Avast support:
http://support.avast.com > Scroll down and Submit a Support Ticket and explain your issue in detail.

Also further information as the module is now "Avast Cleanup" NOT Grimefighter anymore.
