Hello,

I'm a developer from Stygian Software and I have the following problem. Whenever our game is patched by Steam client, the next time the customer launches the game it will show no window, but will appear in task manager from which it cannot be removed until restart. Given enough time, the Steam client itself will crash.

We identified that this is happening due to DeepScreen, since when it's disabled everything works find. Also updating to Avast 2016 solves the problem (even with DeepScreen activated in that version).

Here is the thread with customers complaining: http://steamcommunity.com/app/250520/discussions/0/494632768625662706/
I was also able to reproduce this problem myself.

I'd appreciate any help on mitigating this issue.

Regards,
Styg

Suggest to your customers to update to Avast 2016 as it's fixed in that version.  Any machine that can run Avast 2015 can definitely run Avast 2016.
AMD A6-5350M APU with Radeon HD Graphics, 8.0GB RAM, Win7 Pro SP1 64bit, IE11
i7-3610QM 2.3GHZ, 8.0GB Ram,  Nvidia GeForce GT 630M 2GB, Win7 Pro SP1 64bit, IE 11
Common to both: Avast Premium Security 19.7.2388, WinPatrol Plus, SpywareBlaster 5.5, Opera 12.18, Firefox 68.0.2, MBam Free, CCleaner

Why asking for help if you already know the solution ?
