When you buy a license, it is for 1, 2 or 3 years of using
from the day you have bought it.
It doesn't matter when you activate it, or which version of the product you use.
So buying a license and activate it later is not recommendable.
Or you have a discount offer, that at least compensates the time you are not using it, that makes it interesting to buy it.
