Any way to stop Avast trying to put Chrome on my system?

Is there any way to stop Avast keep bleating on about installing Chrome. Chrome is a lousy browser that eats system resources - if I wanted it, I could find it myself.
Thankyou

Select "do not use Chrome as my default browser" in the settings.
And when there is a update for avast, select a custom installation.
