Invalid key for other log ons?
« on: December 16, 2005, 08:33:37 PM »
Hi there, I've just installed Avast on my PC under my login, but when my wife logs in she gets the message 'License Key not Entered'. I have tried both my key and regestering with her name to obtain a new key but neither will work. There are no tray icons on her login and Email gives me loads of messages about being unable to be checked. We both have 'admi' level logins.
There is an icon on the desktop, but if I click it I just get asked for a key.
Please help?

It's not adviceable to use more than one account with administrator rights... this will mess some installations (even the antipiracy features of some programs). Changing the permition for the avast key into Windows Registry should do the job (see the link that Zagor posted)  ;)
