What means VPS number with 2016 in myavast ? + license bug
« on: January 02, 2016, 05:56:18 PM »
Hello,

I have a AIS license for 3 pc and a AV (free) added.

On 3 x 2016 pc (2xAIS + 1xAV) , myavast says me VPS with number (ex:369 164 800) ,it's not date but nb of def ?
Strange because the pc 4th with (only) 2015  , there is what I have for use (ex:160102-0) , more of that when I'm lookink for nb of def in the UI there is not at all the same number (near x10 less) : 3 356 481.

Other strange thing:
When I'm looking for my license , only one device seems to use license , the one with 2015
expire time : 19/10/2016 10:06

When I'm looking on 2 others (sure with same and good avaslic file) , license screen button is not clicable to see used one , but I can see in info , there is validated but a little different
expire time : 19/10/2016 8:06

nb:all pc are and always beeen with the same time

There have been many posts/reports in the forums of the inaccuracies in the data shown in the my.avast.com account devices. They are planning to work on that to get a greater degree of accuracy.

That said looking at my.avast.com the heading Virus Definitions: doesn't state Virus Definitions Version: like the Program Version: heading. So technically it is correct, possibly they aren't showing the Virus Definitions Version value because of the previously mentioned inaccuracies.

Looking at my.avast.com and the about avast, the my.avast is reporting a higher number of virus definitions than the UI about avast figure.

If any of your devices have been off-line, they won't have connected to your account, that in itself will mean they are also going to be out of date.

I can't comment on the license information as my versions are avast free, so nothing on the my.avast.com.
