This would be great if it just wasn't fake... on each photo truck is on exactly the same spot (see surrounding area). Also, it is exactly the same type of truck... ok, that's possible, but being able to take a picture of moving truck on exactly the same spot 5 different times would make him best photographer in the whole wide World.

Someone just played in photoshop changing the saturation of the background, blur level and few other things. Also lights/shadows on added pictures are not quite well done...

Cheers !

These are billboards, large outdoor signs. They aren't photos. They are drawings. :)

I know, but still... it says "TRUCK ART"... I though they meant something like STREET ART we've seen before in this forum. And that was real art... people drawing unbelievable nice 3D pictures on pavement. But that's not Truck art, it's someone's playing in Photoshop and it's obvious... oh well...

Read the real story of the "truck art" at this link ......

BTW, www.snopes.com is a great place to research so-called urban legends, rumors, myths, and junk email.    :)

Actually Sasha, these are real.  What happened was they took those photos above and placed them over the same trucks to show the different designs, but the designs were originally created shown below:

Thanks to CharleyO for posting the urban legends link :)

As with the "sidewalk 3-D" art, there is one and only one spot where the 3-D effect would be visible. I have seen pictures of the sidewalk art taken from other perspectives and it looks grotesque. I agree with Tesla this is Photoshop and not real. If the observer moved only a few feet in any direction the 3-D effect would disappear.

All the analyzing makes every one miss the whole why I posted these pictures.
I thought they where something nice to look at. Real or not.... but, I guess as always,
beauty is in the eye's of the beholder.
It's like a joke which if it needs to be explained, is no longer funny.  :'(

Well, that much is surely true, Bob. A joke explained just is not funny anymore.     :-\

I believe the explaination at the link in my last post. These were done on canvas and rolled down on the same truck for the effect. That explains why the truck is in the same location.    :)

And yes, they are nice to look at because the art itself is very nice ... regardless of how it was done.    :)
