Well it used to be said 'where there is muck, there is brass' (money), I guess that has changed to 'where there is muck, there is Gold'  ;D

It's also been said that it's lucky to step in "Gold".  :)

Hi there ! I put my question here because I have a little doubt about our intallation of Avast : I get to receive the mail with the Licence Key and then, you'll say it's very easy with the Blue Ball, right ? ... I must be blond but the blue ball doesn't appear anywhere though I know it's supposed to be there ...
I'm not a professional in what concerns computers but maybe you can tell me what's wrong ?

Hi Sam2211

This is a General Forum and this Topic is unrelated your problem (called hijacking a topic) you would be best creating a New Topic on this forum http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2.0 there is a New Topic button at the top of the list then we can give advice without it conflicting with the existing topic.

Something seems to have blocked ashdisp.exe to run. This executable is the icon on system tray.
Maybe you can double-click it (it's on the avast folder) and you'll see the icon again.
Then you can add your registry key (right click the icon, choose 'About' and then click on the buttom 'License key', copy & paste).
