error with license key (internet security)

Whenever i try to enter the license key for internet security, it shows an area as shown in the photo. What is the problem? I have tried reinstalling but the same error occur.

A clean re-install should solve this problem. Use http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avastclear.exe to uninstall Avast and then download and install the latest build from http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_internet_security_setup.exe

This error pop-up when i try to install from the full installer. Previously it was like this too.

Nope, i just reformated the laptop. the previous antivirus was eset nod32

Nope, after i reformated everything, i had eset nod32. I uninstalled it. Now im trying to use avast and it doesnt work.

You need to use the uninstall tool from E-Set and not just remove through control panel.
If you haven't used it:
- Remove E-Set and avast through control panel
- Reboot
- Run the uninstall tools for both
- Reboot
- Install avast

As Eddy has said, run the removal tools for Avast and Eset before attempting to re-install Avast.

i ran eset av removal, it cant detect any other av anymore. im quite sure my laptop is clean off any av already
