So it is saying that it is unable to find that file ? 

Is it physically present on the system   'C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\avastUi.exe'

It is there, it is listed as ...AvastUI.exe everything else the same. but when i click on it directly, it still tells me the same thing."Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Fies\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastUI.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

Could you run a fresh FRST scan please so that I can see how the run key is constructed

Now it is telling me that "Windows cannot find'C:\Users\Main\Downloads\FRST.exe'."

Remembering that something about Avast wouldnt let me download FRST to begin with, I had to uninstall avast to download FRST. could there be a part of avast running in the background that is stopping me from running these programs? but if i try and run a scan through the main, it says Avast isn not running soooo.... I am at a loss. What would you like me to do next?

Download a fresh copy of FRST to your desktop and then run a scan

In order to download FRST i had to uninstall avast.  here is the scan text.

My last post was a scan prior to reinstalling avast. this FRST.txt is after reinstalling AVAST. I hope there is something helpfull in here.

everything is starting to lag, now but that has all started since we have been trying to fix it. And the last time i was trying to search for the FRST app download, It froze up when i was trying to open the directory, to the point i had to force close and reboot my laptop.

Your system seems to be a real mess.
I would say, format and perform a clean installation of Windows, drivers and such.
Do not use a recovery cd/dvd/partition, but a Windows installation medium.
