Had to take the drastic step to move this to paypal resolution centre, only ever did this once with ebay after 450 transactions.
Very poor support, telephone support for account product support non existant, referred to avast support ticket for everything.
Not impressed at all.

As as been explained many times already,

avast is trying to handle tickets within 10 business days.

The telephone support is handled by a 3rd party support company - for obvious reasons they don't have access to your payment information - they only handle program related issues.

We (avast users, who have responded) are only telling it as we see it on the forums and it can take up to 10 business days.

I can't comment on your first ticket, as an avast user I don't have access either. But what has happened in the past is submitting multiple tickets can in effect slow the process as they are handled in a first in first out order.

EDIT: I have tried to draw attention to this issue.
