cant connect to internet

I cant connect to internet after purchasing avast internet security. But i am able to connect to the internet when i turn off my avast shields. I cant understand whats the use of internet security if i cant connect to the internet with my shields active. Please suggest the remedy

This forum is about AES (avast endpoint protection), not about AIS.
Please post in the correct forum and provide details.
