My Banking institution will require using a Symantec app
« on: September 06, 2016, 12:09:56 PM »
Peoples choice credit union will require me to download this app VIP Access Desktop 2.2.1

https://idprotect.vip.symantec.com/desktop/download.v

Download the App for the Symantec website here
Select the applicable option (download for Windows or Download for Mac)
    Follow the prompts/instructions

https://peopleschoicecu.com.au/secure-code

Does anyone know if there will be a conflict with Avast.

May do that tomorrow, just curious to see if anyone else has used it first.

It's just a two factor authentication app, can't create an issue with Avast. I use Authy which is a browser-based application, don't know if your Bank allows it. Once you have two factor protection it will be good to secure the first factor by using a password manager. Avast has a great one, and another one which is very good is LogMeOnce password manager.

Just a joke, most of us tend to be pretty loyal to our bank. :)
