200GB 8MB cache Maxtor beast is just rotating in the PC.
I picked up a Maxtor 250GB for $24.95 the day after Thanksgiving.
One of those nice specials that I just couldn't turn down.....  :)

I had Seagate drives in the past and never had one fail. This new computer has 2 HDDs ... Seagate (master) and Maxtor (slave).

i got two SATA 250GB WDs RaidEdition 2 with 16MB cache and i'm quite happy with theirs performance levels ...

it's nearly double against older generation of WD drives and with 50% lower power usage / drive

All 3 of the PC's I have owned had Seagate hard drives. Never a problem with a Seagate ftive.

This last one I built has one Seagate and one Maxtor. After almost 5 years, no problems with either drives. (knock on wood)
