Firewall problem
« on: January 28, 2016, 03:07:22 PM »
Hello,
I've just reinstall Avast on my computer (win10) and everything is ok... except one thing : firewall seems not active.
When I clic on it, I've only a message in red saying it's strongly recommended to reboot the system (in french ;) )
I've done it several times, but it's always the same. I have another computer on the same network, with the same Avast (but with win7), and there, firewall works fine.
I tried to shut down the windows firewall, but problem remains the same.
An idea ?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers !

Perform a repair of avast and reboot.
That should solve it.

Thanks for your reply.
What do you mean by "repair". A "factory restore" in parameters ?

Control Panel > Programs & Features > Avast Antivirus > Change - from the next screen, select Repair.
