Full security scan going for 49 hours
« on: February 18, 2016, 06:34:32 PM »
I hadn't run my Full Security Scan in several months.  Some friends had used my computer for days while house sitting. I decided to run the Full Security Scan. In the past it would take 16 hours or so and sometimes find 1 or infections. This time it has been running for 49 hours, the last 32 of those hours (maybe more) showing that it was 99% done. The number of scanned files continues to go up, so it isn't frozen and it seems to be mostly working with volumes from Mobile Backups and messages. I just got a new iPhone6S and and synced it to the computer...but Lord 49 hours. It has identified 73 infections, so I don't want to stop this as the only way I know how to then delete these infections is after the full scan completes and you can go to the report.  Please advise.  Thanks
