Mac OSX?

We just got a new G5 with OSX - will Avast work on that system?   ???
I LOVE it on my pc, and I want it on the G5!

As far as I'm aware there is currently no way of running avast under OSX.
I think this has cropped up in the forums before though and I can't remember to outcome about viability.

Unless there is some sort of windows emulation, even them I'm not sure.

Developing an AV for the Mac was once thought to be not commercially viable because of the small user base and supposed low risk of virus infection.
