It's been scanning 43 hours, Should I Quit?

Hi Everybody. The Avast Mac software has been doing a system scan for 43 hours now on my MacBook Pro. The funny thing is… it's still finding virii (plural of virus). 161 infections so far. The progress bar has been showing 100% since the first day. Should I just quit? and if I do, will the infections Avast has found (so far) be put in the chest?

I have run the program in the past and it never took more than a few hours. Thanks for any help.

Can you attach a screenshot of the detections please?
Maybe we can see whats detected here.
