How to uninstall a quarantined program

I downloaded a driver installer which Avast detected as malware.  I decided to uninstall it and windows can't find it....of course its in the virus chest.  I can't find another thread on this....can someone tell me how I can remove this thing?  Thank you.

Well, I somehow got a notification from the app that I had two drivers needing updating. A window appeared on the lower right of the screen. So some part of it succeeded I believe.   And I find the program on my program list, with an option to uninstall which Windows cant do (can't find it).   

I think I will try deleting it from the chest, and removing it from my program list, and hope there isn't some kernel of it still working.
