It appears to be when you open a large programme.  Is your CPU dual core ?

It doesn't matter which program I open, only Word, or only Mozilla, PC windows all flicking.... all programs show once in a while "not responding" I used to work with 10 programs with no issue, it all started when I installed all those snipping programs.... I got 4 cores. New PC.

OK lets remove the Vipre driver and see if that helps

CAUTION :  This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

Quote
CreateRestorePoint:
R0 gfibto; C:\Windows\System32\drivers\gfibto.sys [14456 2013-06-02] (GFI Software)
RemoveProxy:
EmptyTemp:
CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe

Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

OMG, I spent hours fixing the issue by updating drivers, by cleaning registry etc. After all failures I just used - System Restore and restore PC to February 1 Restore Point. I wanted to do so before, but I forgot...... Now PC works as Formula One.
Anyway, after my PC was Fixed, I ran again:
1. Reg Orginizer.
2. CCleaner.
3. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
4. Avast Full Scan
5. Ad-aware Full scan
6. And your Log Vipre Fix.

Thanks Bro.
