blocked connection?
« on: February 10, 2016, 07:41:14 PM »
so i came to my pc and there was a popup saying something allong the lines of "no many avast users have encountered this file so is treeted as suspicious" the url this was coming from seemed to mention microsoft but the file wasnt digitally signed.
I couldnt get a screenshot because my pc was locked and had to close the message to inlock my pc.
my pc did download 3 windows updates though today so it could have been one of those that it blocked.
also finding out where avast stores logs for these messages would be nice.

if you have not rebooted since it happend, right click avast tray icon and select show last popup
click the pin in top right corner to pin it to screen, now take a screenshot and post it here

the URL did seem legit and some windows updates did happen.
The window that poped up was asking me what i wanted to do with the connection (block it, allow it etc) it wasnt a cornor of the screen popup but because im paranoid as hell i blocked it to be safe
