Hi guys,

Avast 11.5 on OS X El Capitan (all versions) prevents Unity3D cloud connection. I have spent ~ 2 months exchanging e-mail with various persons from Unity Cloud Services support, trying to determine why on earth I could not login to Unity Cloud Services using my Unity Developer account. We ran every test imaginable, exchanged kilometers of logs and could not find the issue. Avast also prevented my OS from logging in to iCloud. After disabling this infernal antivirus, lo and behold! Unity 3D connects and logs in to Unity Cloud Services like a charm.

Will there be a fix anytime soon?

To avoid misunderstandings, I must say that I'm not a MAC person.
What part (shield) of avast is preventing the connection ?
Have you set a exclusion for that cloud service ?

I would advise trying to disable the web shield and try using the Unity software, if this works we can work to setup an exclusion for you.

Cheers!
