(RESOLVED) Issue with Firewall statistics on Latest Version
« Reply #15 on: February 11, 2016, 09:39:00 PM »
May I ask: Is the firewall actually working? (maybe without statistics and logs).
Or it's not even working anymore?

That could be the case too but I'm not sure.

Please, could you try download a run this command-line toll public.avast.com/~kolaci/ipconfig.zip? For example, you can use command ipconfig.exe>ipconfig.txt. I would like to see your ipconfig.txt. It's possible that your WiFi adapters have some weird interface-type.

Thanks. Good news - we can reproduce your problem and currently we are debugging it. I suppose that we will send you fixed FW driver today.

Errr, sorry, but instrunctions how to create that log would be nice. (tried using cmd, or without it, but no success).

That's great to hear, thank you.
Do you still need the logs mentioned earlier?

EDIT: Just to know, this is a false-positive of the file mentioned earlier, right?

We don't need this log now. And virustotal report should be false-positive, because ipconfig tool was made by my colleague.

I am sorry, but mentioned fix is slightly more complicated so it will not be done today.

No problem.

As long as Avast is aware there is an issue and it's acknowledged by them, we can wait for a fix.

Regards.

This issue has been fixed by a updated firewall driver which will be released next version. I have tested and confirmed the statistics show as intended.
