....or AVAST. :p
But I'd bet that if the OP had actually used it properly, used its "Immunise" option and done a full manual system scan with Spybot it would have picked up some, may be all of them in just the same way as a manual scan with Malwarebytes (Free) has. Criticise Tea Timer for being ineffective, which it is, but at least Spybot has some real time protection that Malwarebytes (Free) doesn't.
Compare like for like ie. their manual full system scans and who knows what the results might have been. We'll never know now and all this thread will tell the future is that some people here have irrational software prejudices based on little or no evidence.
It would be interesting to know when the OP last did a Spybot system scan.
The fact is that I've only ever had one thing that Spybot didn't find that Malwarebytes has. Every month I do a full system scan with both always starting with Spybot first, Malwarebytes next then AVAST. I've been doing that religiously for almost 5 years. So 5 years experience using Spybot, Malwarebytes and AVAST side by side, working without any apparent conflict, apparently counts for nothing.
