Duplicate Mobile Device in Avast Account
« on: February 17, 2016, 10:15:31 AM »
Hi

I have a new Huawei GRA-L09 (P8) phone. I installed AMS and AAT on the device. It seems to appear twice in the Accounts -> Device List. Once listing the AMS and the other listing the AAT.

Each line tells me to install the other.

How do I resolve this?

It already has been solved.
Delete the current devices.
Make sure you have the latest AMS and AT installed.
Connect the device to your account.

I installed Mobile Security and Anti Theft today fresh from Play Store and connected both to my account and have two entries for my device, one with ams and one with at. what do? :D maybe a recurring bug with a newer version?

Strange, everything looks fine in my account.
Only one device and both AMS and AT are green.

It can be that the Android version you are using making it not to work properly.

As I said, it can have to do with the Android version.
If I remember correctly is has to do with the changes that Google made in the API.

Most important is that both AMS and At are working ;)

Yeah of course thats the most important thing. Just wanted to help out and say that I checked out the info section of the apps and it seems AMS can'T get the IMEI of the device, whcih i assume would be used to uniquely identify the phone. In AT i can see the IMEI just fine.

This method does not work on my phone: OnePlus One Cyanogen OS 12.1.1-YOG7DAS2K1 (Android 5.1.1). In the later and earlier versions of the firmware, too.

Hi guys,

its possible that this problem still persist for some you.
Its because new version of Anti-Theft app has been released for only 50% of the userbase. (We are still fixing some problems)
For those unlucky of you, please be patient.

Regards,

miraDi
