PW Manager and Opera
« on: February 17, 2016, 01:38:35 PM »
"Currently Passwords is available for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers. Opera and Google Chrome"
Unfortunately, Opera doesn't show upon my list of browsers to install the PW Mgr to.
How do I install it to the Opera browser ?

Get some rest Bob.
Lately it seems you are working too hard making you overlook things ;)

It says :
Quote
Currently Passwords is available for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers. Opera and Google Chrome on Android phones and Apple Safari on iPhones are also supported.

Eddy,
My quote came directly from the website you list.
It clearly states that Opera is a covered Browser.
It's hard to add the feature if the browser isn't listed in the settings:

I see nothing here that indicates that the same browsers aren't also available for your computer ???
If that's the case, it should list what's available and what's not.

Which browsers are supported?
Currently Passwords is available for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers. Opera and Google Chrome on Android phones and Apple Safari on iPhones are also supported.
The faq is for avast on Windows.
So Chrome, FireFox and IE are supported on Windows.
Opera and Chrome on Android.
Safari on IPhones.

The exception are not listed on that website.
Nothing on that websites states that these plug-ins are only available for Chrome, IE and FF when using a computer.
That's your understanding but, it's not spelled out on that website.
Clarity prevents confusion and misunderstanding.
