How do I cancel my "Auto Renewal"?

Hi, so I subscribed around 2 years ago, and Avast just recently charged me the infamous "Avast- Nexway 415 449-4713", not knowing I had enabled auto-renewal (despite remembering having disabled it) I now want to make sure this doesn't happen again.

I haven't used my PC for around 8 months because I have been moving around and could not take my PC with me yet. So even if I do get the renewal, I don't benefit from it.

So would someone kindly explain to me what I can do?? And how to check what I even signed up for because my account page isn't telling me much.
