Nexway. Automatic Renewal
« on: February 21, 2016, 04:22:47 AM »
I have used Avast regularly. I bought a new computer and installed Avast. When my year was up, and automatic payment for £29.99 was taken from my pay pal. My Avast was not renewed.
I tried to reclaim this payment as authorized from paypal.
They've told me that as it was a renewal, it was not unauthorized.
I have tried contacting Nexway and got no where.
Time is marching on.
Have I lost this payment with no Avast to show for it? Is this a scam? I've always trusted Avast!!!I have free avast on this new computer and keep being asked to upgrade.
I've recently installed Avast on an older computer. This included accepting an automatic renewal. I have not used paypal with this transaction, but I am worried about being scammed again.
Avast has been also asking me to run my first scan on my phone, just this week. I already have Avast on my phone, so why are they asking me to make a 'first' scan? I'm struggling to trust this.
I don't want to change my virus protection. Avast have been solid for many years. Whats going on?
Please advise
