happy new year to you all, I have mcafee  firewall when I looked to see what is blocked I noticed avast web scanner file name (ashwebsv.exe) is blocked is this right? I can't remember blocking anything from avast.

It should be allowed to have Outgoing connection to the Internet. Strange, if it's blocked how do you surf via Internet... Maybe it's blocked for incoming connections. If it is, it's true and everything is ok. Happy New Year.
