Settings are reset
« on: March 07, 2016, 09:29:10 AM »
We are currently using Avast for Business version 11.1.2510 and we have a problem since we started using it some months ago. We modify the Settings and after resetting the computer, the settings are reset. For example when I add a path to the Exclusions File paths list (Settings->General->Exclusions), the path is configured correctly. But when I restart the computer, the Exclusions File path list is empty. Is there a way to keep the modified settings? Is there a button to save the settings to disk?

I've opened the file "C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\avast5.ini" and the field "ScanExclusions=" is empty. Where are the settings stored?

Thanks!
Xavi

You've to adjust the settings via the console, else they get reset.
