Silly Question about Windows Address Book
« on: January 06, 2006, 05:37:13 PM »
Trying to export my Windows XP Hone Edition Address Book but the Import and Export options in the File menu are greyed out.  Anyone else come across this or know how to get it to work?

As far as I'm aware Windows XP Home doesn't have an address book, are you talking about your email address book?

If so and it's OE then open the addressbook and select File, Export. I would imagine this is similar in other email programs.

I'm talking about the built in Address Book under Start Menu \ Accessories.

That is the same as your email addressbook (in my XP Pro) and when you open it export as I mentioned above.

Just tried that.  Got a message saying that the Import/Export feature is not installed.  Please insert your Microsoft Office 2000 Premium CD to install it.

I don't have the CD.
