I'm running AVast internet security, latest version on Windows 10.  I am using the Microsoft VPN client connected to our office.  When the Avast firewall is enabled, my VPN connection gets disconnected automatically if its been idle for more than a minute.  Turn off the Firewall and the VPN connection stays up forever.  The VPN timeout settings in Windows have no effect when Avast is running.

Can that idle timeout be changed?  Its a real pain in the neck because I do something, focus on something else for a few minutes and then need to reconnect.

Thanks for your prompt response.
