I consider Windows email viruses to be false positives, and don't really care if Avast "protects" me from them, since they 1) don't affect my Mac and 2) are usually things that come into my spam folder, so I never see in the first place.
Is there any way to make avast not give me notification of blocking them, while simultaneously keeping the notifications for things that actually matter to the health of my Mac?
