Thanks Eddy, I can now see it, but when I just tried importing that file into Chrome, it said it had done it, but nothing showed up... is it not compatible with other browsers?

If other browser can import it or not depend on the other browser(s).

Ok, now I see what the issue is... the bookmarks file is there, but it is not an html file, hence cant be imported...
when I go into it, I can open it in IE, but then just shows a fast string of data; no info in properties about what kind of file it is

I am sorry if I am missing something here, but it does not appear to be stored in a format which any other "normal" browser can access

same problem here!
I have been working and relying on SafeZone browser for too long.
When I had to install Windows, every bookmark saved on SafeZone has gone with the wind!
I tried to import these bookmarks, before windows installation, into Opera browser but Opera didn't even see SafeZone!
Chrome was damaged, one of many reasons why I had to install Windows, so I couldn't use it anyway.
Before Windows installation, I copied 3 bookmarks files from the destination:

C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\SZBrowser\profile\admin

These files are:
- Bookmarks
- Bookmarks.bak
- BookmarksExtras

So, I still have them safe and sound. But now what?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 :-[ :-\ :'(

Strip the code so only the url's are left and import them to the browser where you want them.

I opened them in a text editor and tried to copy url's manually but it seems it would take forever!
I don't know any tools that could do that.
I don't know how to write a batch file or what it is!

Does SafeZone browser have a synchronize feature so I can access my bookmarks on any device by signing in?
It would save me in the future.

There is NO way you can export the bookmarks from Avast SafeZone browser and transfer them to another browser and whoever says the opposite is either lying or is ignorant. The only way to do that is to manually copy paste their links. Case closed and truth restored. (that is true at least until 17/01/2017 00:53 UTC+1)

P.S. Don't even bother answering me: 1) I won't see it and 2) Even if I saw it I would expose your incompetence.

captaingreek is completely wrong, because there are ways to do so.

Only thing that need to be done is convert the SafeZone Browser bookmarks to a format that is supported by the browser where you want to import them.

Bookmark export to html is now in beta (you can install it now with avast beta release!). It will be officially released for all users at the beginning of the February. Please be patient, more cool things will come in this release.

Where is a simple program to convert the file into a format that can be read by any other browser ?
netscape, firefox or chrome would do.
edit:    never mind i found the update and  exported my bookmarks, thanks

If you go to Bookmarks -> Export bookmarks, you will get HTML file which is fully compatible with other browsers ;)
