Screen Lock Message
« on: December 04, 2016, 06:00:37 AM »
Hey ya'll. I'm running on Android 6.0.1 on a Moto G4 Plus.

I would just like to know why in Android:
Settings  > Personal > Security > Screen lock

Why is it showing this message under "Pattern" "Pin" and "Password":

"Because you've turned on an accessibility service, your device won't use your screen lock to enhance data encryption."

I have active the Avast Mobile Security and Avast Passwords accessibility services turned on. When I turn them off and go back to the Screen lock settings on Android, the message disappears.

Okay... But can you please tell me what exactly that message means? I would appreciate it.

It means you have turned on an accessibility service.
And that is true as you say so yourself > "I have active the Avast Mobile Security and Avast Passwords accessibility services turned on."
