timeout of connexion? what's this?
« on: January 10, 2006, 08:38:17 PM »
hello has had all,
here is my problem I obtain this message on behalf of avast for two days (timeout of connection Internet expired?  IMApp.ex - pop.mgp.neufgp.fr:110) I must acknowledge that I do not practise the language of shakespeare on the end of the fingers!  but I include/understand approximately what that speaks.  I have to carry out some research on the forum but I do not have really to find an answer.  thank you in advance of your listening, good evening.

I assume that you are using Incredimail?

Were you receiving emails with attachments at the time?

If so it takes time to scan the attachments and this delay can be seen as a server not responding.

You can try to increase the timeout delay in your email program, sorry I don't know how to do this in Incredimail.

The location they are coming from (I assume that is what you mean) is most likely to be faked, so trying to block them is not very effective.

Provided that avast is picking up the infected email attachment there is no need to report it.

Welcome to the forums.
